Indian Fans Boycott ‘Superman’ After A Clip From The Film Shows Kashmir As ‘Disputed’ Area

When you’ve grown up on comics and Superman is more than a character to your childhood memory, then it is inevitable that whatever amendment in the script or the narration of a character is changed, it will affect your perception of it.

A clip of DC’S much-awaited animated movie Injustice is currently doing the rounds on the internet which is actually upsetting a lot of ‘desi’ fans back home. The clip shows Superman and Wonder Woman destroying military hardware in Kashmir and the film also insinuates it as a ‘disputed’ area.

The clip shows the duo trying to restore peace and also features two countries’ representatives signing a peace treaty. The mutated depiction of the state of Kashmir has led to many perceptions and inferences being drawn on the internet and has, in fact, invited the ire of many angry Indians who are now boycotting the film.

Why are they so specific about Kashmir? First they refer to an imaginary place like m'gota, but the next moment they mention Kashmir. Its better to keep quiet about complex geopolitical affairs that they don't know anything about
Btw, when did captain America become a woman ?
