It is difficult to recreate a blockbuster after more than 15 years, especially if it catered to another world and another class of non-millennial crop. However, the good people at YRF decided to spin the wheel of fortune on one of the biggest movies they ever made, Bunty Aur Babli, and the trailer for the second part is out now. Before we begin dissecting it and taking a plunge into the pool of nostalgia, let's first have a look at the trailer.

The premise stays the same with just some subtle changes here and there. There is a new, millennial, tech-savvy version of Bunty aur Babli aka Sidhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari. Rani Mukerji reprises her old role and Saif has replaced Abhishek Bachchan as Bunty and Pankaj Tripathi replaces the inspector which was earlier played by Amitabh Bachchan.

Not going to lie, as a 90’s kid who probably watched this comedy of errors in a theatre more than 2 times, I obviously missed the father-son duo. However, since both Pankaj and Saif are wonderful actors, for anyone watching this movie for the first time without having pre-conceived notions of the first one, this one will be a visual delight for sure.

The OG BnB, Rani and Saif are living as retired con artists, domesticated to a homely life. When they are questioned by the police after many people start getting duped, they realise that the new-age BnB have stolen their identity and thus, they decide to retake the throne from them. In terms of performances, the actors do a great job. The trailer surely looks fun and the movie will be a good family watch. It releases on November 19, so mark your calendars.
