Sunny Deol recently shot for Sony TV's The Kapil Sharma Show for the promotion of his son Karan Deol's next film Velley. Karan and his co-stars Visshesh Tiwari and Savant Singh Premi too accompanied the Ghayal actor. During the episode, which will be telecasted on TV this weekend, Sunny shared an incident with Kapil Sharma when his son cried seeing him hugging and getting intimate with Juhi Chawla on screen. 

When Kapil asked Sunny if he's comfortable doing romantic scenes in front of his son and father Dharmendra, the Damini star said, "He (Karan Deol) was an infant when I was shooting for a film with Juhi Chawla. So, in one scene I hug her and all that. It was a song sequence. He was behind me, in my cousin`s arms. So during that scene he started to cry loudly".

Velley is directed by Deven Munjal while Ajay Devgn has produced it. Also featuring Abhay Deol and Mouni Roy, the movie is a remake of the Telugu comedy - Brochevarevarura. It is slated to release on the big screen on 10 December. 

For the unversed, Karan made his Bollywood debut with Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas which was released in 2019. Directed by father Sunny Deol, Karan's debut film starred another newcomer Sahher Bambba as the female lead. The trade had high expectations from the movie, however, it tanked at the box office. 

Velley is Karan's second movie and he will also be seen playing a pivotal role in Apne 2. Besides him, the second instalment of the 2007 film Apne also stars his grandfather Dharmendra, father Sunny Deol, and uncle Bobby Deol. The much-awaited project will be helmed by Anil Sharma who also directed the first part. 

On the other hand, Sunny recently started shooting for Gadar 2. In the much-awaited sequel to Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, the actor will be seen reprising the role of Tara Singh while Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma too will be returning as Sakeena and Jeete respectively.
