As much as a man likes to have/fancy/talk about ***, sadly, it is also one of the few things that often scare the shit out of them. 

Not in the ‘what am I doing’ or ‘Is this right’ kind of way, but in a way of peer pressure that constantly asks men to protect their masculinity. 

And because the definition of such ‘masculinity’ is so toxic in our society, it loosely translates into men having to be good in bed, lest they want to be seen as less of a man.

From fears relating to sexual health, masturbation, orgasms, there are several things that constantly run inside the head of men which eventually affect their performance in bed, for they’re too burdened with these worries to be able to give their best.

Here are a few fears that men have about *** that can severely affect their *** life:

1. Fear 1: Leaving Her Unsatisfied

One of the biggest fears that haunt most men in bed is that of being able to satisfy their woman and driving her to the point of a euphoric orgasm. 

However, making a woman orgasm isn’t all that easy and women faking their orgasms doesn’t help much either. 

Just the idea of being able to give your woman what she needs is enough to trigger a feeling of self-doubt and loathe, especially since leaving a woman unsatisfied in bed can hurt a man and his self-respect too.

2) Fear 2: Premature Ejaculation

This might not be the case with every man out there, but even then, the thought of not being able to hold yourself during *** for long enough worries a man deeply. 

More so because porn movies may have shaped their mindset in a way that makes them feel inferior if they can’t hold themselves up for as long. This, in turn, develops into performance anxiety, and even men who don’t suffer from premature ejaculation, are led to believe otherwise.

3) Fear 3: Getting Her Pregnant

Blame (or thank) the episode of F.R.I.E.N.D.S or the several unoriginal movies in Bollywood where the woman gets pregnant at the worst timing ever, but the fear of getting a woman pregnant when you’re not planning with her is almost terrifying for any man.

While it stays even when you use protection, it is worse in cases where a man shoots his shot without a cover. And that thought tends to affect their sexual performance in bed.

4) Fear 4: Not Matching To The Porn Standards

There is a certain and unprecedented porn pressure that men feel while having ***, which is rooted out of the kind of porn they see and whether or not they will be able to match up the value of it in real life.

However, what most men forget while competing against those professionally produced videos is that they are fabricated and not all that shines is gold. 

Whether it is going for as long as the guy in a video does or not having their partner moan as loud and hard as the female in the porn videos, these little comparisons start ticking men off as they fear not being good enough.
