SS. Rajamouli’s RRR is the much awaited magnum opus that fans have been waiting for. With its January release, the movie will probably kickstart the year on a bright note. Starring Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in lead roles, this Telugu action-period drama has a whopping budget of Rs 400 crores.

With so much money being spent on the movie and the marketing, it’s only natural that pay checks for the superstars will be big, just like their name. As per a Republic News report , the actors have been paid a good amount of remuneration. Here’s a look at the money our favourite stars are making:

The actor who plays the role of Indian revolutionary Alluri Sitarama Raju has reportedly been paid around Rs 45 crore for this film.

Jr. NTR  will also essay the role of another revolutionary leader named Komaram Bheem, who rebelled against the Nizam of Hyderabad.  He is also being paid Rs 45 crore.

The Singham actor has an elongated cameo which is pivotal to the script and he’s being paid around Rs 25 crore for the film.

Alia will be seen in the character called Sita, for which she is being given a remuneration of Rs 9 crore, much less as compared to her colleagues.

The man behind the camera, the director, Mr. SS Rajamouli will take away a 30 per cent profit share from the film when it releases.
