23-Year-Old Guy Made A Hoax Bomb Threat To Stop His Parents From Coming Home & It Worked

We all, as adults, at some point, move out of our parents' house. People who are living alone will understand how stressful it gets when your parents announce their annual and sometimes sudden visit.

From fake office trips to a friend's wedding to what not, people have often come up with interesting excuses to stop their parents from coming home. But, what is the wildest thing you've done to stop them? Whatever it is, it cannot top this 23-year-old guy from France who made a hoax bomb threat, just because he didn't want his parents to come home.

This student's parents were coming to see him, in a flight from Lyon to Rennes in France. Reportedly, he anonymously made a hoax call regarding the bomb, which caused the flight to turn around shortly after the take-off. His parents boarded the EasyJet flight, EZY4319 on January 18.

The public prosecutor of Rennes said in a statement, "the author of the facts has been identified." The dude has been held in custody and charged with "false news compromising the safety of an aircraft in flight."

If the guy is prosecuted, he could end up facing up to five years in jail and might get slapped with a fine of 75,000 euro (Rs. 60 lakh approx.)

Seriously, what was he hiding in his house or what could have possibly happened between him and his parents that he took this extreme step to stop them?
