Bollywood's Rishi Kapoor is one of the most respected actors of the film industry and is loved by millions from all around the country. He is known for his versatility on the big screen and also the fact that he is the head of one of the most popular families of Indian cinema adds to his fame.

Having said that, ever since Twitter fever took over us Indians, the legend has made a name for himself as the ultimate troll who does not back down from roasting the biggest names from any profession, field or area.

The latest prey to Kapoor's comical expedition are the 15 of India's ace cricketers who have been selected to represent the nation at the upcoming 2019 ICC World Cup in England and Wales starting 30th May 2019.

In an astute observation made by the actor, Kapoor took to Twitter to through out a question on the internet about the obsession with growing a beard or donning a stubble seen in the Men in Blue.

To make his case stronger, the intrigued actor also shared a picture of what seems like a newspaper clipping showing the faces the Indian roster for the World Cup.

Don't take this picture as a reference point but why do most of our cricket players sport full facial hair(beards)? All Samson's?(remember he had his strength in his hair) Surely they look smart and dashing without it. Just an observation! pic.twitter.com/QMLuQ0zikw

“Don't take this picture as a reference point but why do most of our cricket players sport full facial hair(beards)? All Samson's?(remember he had his strength in his hair) Surely they look smart and dashing without it. Just an observation,” tweeted the actor.

In his defence, other than the former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, literally every other member of the squad have a beard or at least a stubble on their faces and it does make a very good case for him.

As expected, the tweet became viral and responses and reactions from all over the nation started to pour in:

Pretty sure that negotiations with Gillette to sponsor the team mustn't have worked out
