One of them is the most impactful cricketer on the planet right now, and the other one is a stalwart in her own right, making some of the most impactful and commercially successful movies that we have seen this decade.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are the definitive Power Couple that we have in India as of now. Not only do they set some major relationship goals for us (ask your girlfriend and you'll get a clue what we are on about), from time to time, they also set some really cool and doable style goals that should be on your shared bucket lists.

On its own, Virat's asymmetrical kurta is one hell of a piece that warrants a lot of praise. However, with Anushka in the simplistic but elegant sari next to him, the outfit takes on a whole new meaning. This just goes on to show that desi outfits, with liberal and contemporary touches, is bound to work, always.

It seems that Virat & Anushka had meticulously planned this outfit. The combination of each element works really well. This is actually a nice way of striking a chord with your partner, without those cringy 'his and hers' t-shirts and sweatshirts that people normally go for. Once again, the individuality of these outfits isn't lost, and yet, they seem to complement each other really well. Moral of the story? One of the two should wear something with a little colour if the other one is planning to keep things all plain and simple.

There's a lot going on here that ideally shouldn't work, but at the end of the day, they actually do. First, even though it's a cocktail dress, things with too much glitter can be an eyesore. Plus, Virat's outfit doesn't really work well, considering that its a monochrome ensemble, barring the jacket. It probably has to do something with the fit, it just does not sit well.

However, when we consider the ensembles as a pair, things fall perfectly into place. The glitter and shine of the cocktail dress sit in perfect harmony with the simple, and apparently “insipid”, outfit. They work really well in tandem.

This sort of continues on the previous theme, albeit with some minor differences. Virat in his all-white ensemble actually looks quite good. Anushka, on the other hand, seems to one-up him, with the playful set of ghagra-choli. Plus, the fact that the playfulness carries over to the tone of the photograph, actually makes this quite Insta-worthy. 

Even other than these four, there have been a number of occasions when the power couple coordinated their outfits for the maximum impact. Like this one, when they went shopping for their pet dog.
