SP Balasubrahmanyam Is Upset Stars Were Taking Selfie With PM Modi But His Phone Was Taken Away

Recently, PM Narendra Modi hosted a reception at his residence that was attended by the who's who of Bollywood. From Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez to Kangana Ranaut and Ekta Kapoor, almost every famous celebrity attended the 'Change Within' event, posted selfies and pictures from the party and thanked PM Modi for inviting them.

However, there's an interesting backstory that was shared by veteran singer SP Balasubrahmanyam on social media, where he low-key expressed how upset he was with PM Modi for being partial towards the Bollywood celebrities.

Singer Balasubrahmanyam was also present at the same event, but he didn't post any pictures from there, nor any selfies with PM Modi. Why? Because his phone and that of a few other guests were taken away by the security personnel and they were given tokens for the same. So, how were the Bollywood celebrities allowed to carry their phones inside? That's exactly the point everyone is raising now.

In his post on Facebook, he wrote "I am grateful to Ramoji Raoji, (Eenadu), because of whom I was able to attend a reception hosted by our Hon. Prime Minister at his home on the 29th of Oct. Upon entering the premises, we were asked to leave our cellphones with the security personnel and were given tokens for the same. But I was bewildered at the STARS taking selfies with the PM on that day. THINGS THAT MAKE YOU GO HMMM????? (sic)"

The 'Change Within' event was organised to promote the ideologies of Mahatma Gandhi.
