Our cover star for November, Sidharth Malhotra is gearing up to come out all guns blazing, as he prepares for his upcoming release, Marjaavaan. And boy, the sartorial statements he and his stylist, Akshay Tyagi have been making for the past couple of weeks, have been delightful.

Just a few days ago, he was spotted wearing a pair of Jimmy Choo's that took the obsession with 'dirty sneakers' to a whole new level.

This time around though, he stepped out to promote his film in one of the most badass spiked sneakers we have seen this year.

The sneakers that Sidharth is wearing, come from the French high fashion brand, Christian Louboutin. What really gives us the buzz is the rather cool and hip manner in which the toe cap of the sneaker is studded with spikes, making it one insane pair of sneakers.

The flat-soled sneakers are an iteration of their famed, Orlato line of sneakers and are called the Louis Junior Spikes Orlato. They normally retail for $950, or Rs. 68,000, and are available in a variety of colours.

Mind you though, there are the hefty import taxes and customs duties that you'll need to pay, so be ready to shell out something to the tunes of Rs. 80,000 - 85,000, if you are planning to buy these pairs.

However, they are totally worth the cost. Not only do these sneakers have a very flamboyant aesthetic to it, they also have a rather subtle, dandy-esque character to them.

The construction of the sneakers stand out with its spikes and jacquard fabric, and a rather visually cool mix of calfskin and patent leather. It would make for a perfect addition to anyone's closet.

Coming to the rest of the overall outfit that Sidharth is wearing, we have to say that although we aren't that big a fan of fabrics with velvety textures, it does look good on Sidharth. 

However, the corduroy suit does not hold a candle to the statement piece that the sneakers are.

All in all, this is a rather dope outfit. Kudos, Akshay and Sidharth! This is a job well done.
