Veganism essentially calls for a complete rejection of animal products especially when it comes to food intake. While there exist further categories under Veganism, vegans are primarily known to consume plant-based food, nuts, legumes and fruits, while they categorically reject any product or food ingredient of animal origin, such as dairy products, eggs, etc.
