For quite a while now, the social media teams of various state police have been making creative efforts to make their posts go viral and have been succeeding in disseminating information with their witty tweets.

From Pune Police to UP Police, the social media handles of these police departments have time and again come up with savage posts to create awareness and their timely replies to the public have gained the trust of people to an extent that now people depend on them.

Recently, a twitter user tagged Uttar Pradesh police in a tweet asking for help while travelling in UP State Transport  (UPSRTC) bus on 24 February.

To which, the emergency services from UP Police replied to her tweet.

As soon as local police were informed through tweets, the bus was stopped and both men were taken in for questioning.
