Okay, yes, stealing is bad, but I'm still conflicted about this man because he stole for his pets, and that's a pretty damn good excuse.

Basically, Tarpan Ameen, a resident of Twinland Tower in sector 1 in Navi Mumbai recently was billed Rs 7.22 Lakh after he stole electricity to keep his dogs in the comfort of air-conditioning throughout the day.

Apparently, power supply firm, MSEDCL claims he has stolen electricity worth about Rs 6.98 Lakh and for that, he was fined Rs 24,000. According to one of the officials, the man had three dogs, and among them, one was a golden retriever who, he claimed, couldn't do without constant AC.

The biggest question is how the hell do you steal so much electricity without getting caught? Well, it looks like he got a direct connection from the building's electricity cabin and wasn't being billed for it.

He got caught after someone complained to the power body about what was happening. But, since he was now paid the full amount and even the penalty, no criminal case is being filed against him.

I just hope those poor doggos get all the comfort they deserve and this guy is able to provide them with that, without breaking the law, of course.
