Probably the best way to get to know more about future Apple products is by digging the beta codes of iOS. In the latest iOS 14 code, not only is the iPhone 9 all but confirmed, but a few of the new features of the upcoming smartphone have also been revealed. The iPhone 9 (aka iPhone SE 2) will apparently have many features that were previously rumoured.

Based on the code, the iPhone 9 is set to bring back Touch ID which was first introduced on the iPhone 5 several years ago. It will also have a new feature called Express Transit which can be used to pay for rides. The information comes from 9to5Mac and the report also details other products Apple is expected to launch later this month.

While Apple is expected to announce the new phone soon, there are multiple reports that the iPhone 9 may get delayed due to the coronavirus outbreak by a few months. The iPhone 9 is rumoured to feature a 4.7-inch display and will come at a very affordable price.

The code also revealed a new iPad Pro that will be launching alongside the iPhone 9, however this time it will feature a triple-camera setup. It is expected to have a wide lens, ultra-wide sensor and a telephoto lens. The new iPad Pro is also expected to have an additional ToF (time of flight) sensor for a more accurate and better AR (augmented reality) experience.

Lastly, the iOS 14 code also mentions Appleâs new tracking devices called AirTags. It will work similar to Tile trackers that let you attach the device to your belongings and can be tracked via the âFind Myâ app. Users will be able to find these air trackers via sound and augmented reality.
