Most people will tell you that their wedding day is a big deal and they would like it to be the most memorable day of their life. But the hullabaloo around this D-Day that we see today is unlike how things were back in the day, or to be more specific, back in the day when our grandparents tied the knot.

Those were the times when most brides and grooms didn’t even see each other before the day of the wedding, but now, right from elaborate pre-wedding shoots to over-the-top wedding filmography, we have it all.

That wasn’t the same for Kunjootty and Chinnamma, who have been married for the last 58 years but never had the chance to get a wedding photograph clicked back in the day. The sweet couple from Kerala’s Idukki recently expressed their wish to have their own wedding photography done and thank the lord for it because this one looks like a dream. More importantly, it's nothing like the usual cringe-fest that is often thrown our way in the name of wedding photography.

In the pictures, 85-year-old Kunjootty and 80-year-old Chinnamma can be seen all decked up in a wedding attire and happily posing for the loved-up photographs. Clicked by their own grandson who works as a photographer, the pictures scream of love, companionship and good fun as the couple pose for the camera. They may have gotten married in 1962, but we are glad they have their wedding pictures in 2020.
