This time of the year is probably the most dangerous time for your skin. Why, you ask? Well, the Diwali pollution, together with the dry winter weather is not a nice combination for your skin.
Imagine being all dressed up for a festive party. Good clothes, stylish accessories but your skin somehow doesn’t look fresh enough.
Be it dry patches or acne, bad skin can be a huge pet peeve for some.
Why worry when I have the ultimate solution for your skin. This skincare routine works like magic on my dry and sensitive skin. It keeps it moisturised, soft and glowing!
I mostly start following this routine around the festive season and continue all through the winters. Try it out for yourself and see the results!
Step 1: Face Wash & Pat DryIt goes without saying that you need to wash and moisturise your face regularly. However, if you have dry and sensitive skin, stick to a gentle face wash. I use the MensXP Mud Face Wash for Normal & Dry Skin because it’s infused with honey. In case you didn’t know, honey is a magical ingredient for dry skin. Remember to pat dry your face and not rub too much (can cause skin inflammation and reactions).

Step 2: Vitamin Boost Clay MaskNow this is an occasional step. I use a face mask about twice in a week or just before a special occasion. This particular face pack is enriched with Hyaluronic Acid. This one ingredient is the one thing that every dry skin type should look for in his products. Be it a face mask, a moisturiser or a serum, this ingredient is a must. It provides intense hydration without any greasiness. Since my skin is prone to acne too, this is a great face mask to go for.

Step 3: Tea Tree Facial OilA very recent and effective ingredient in my routine is the Tea Tree Facial Oil by Greenberry Organics. The oil adds an extra layer of nourishment to the skin. Make sure to massage it in gentle circular motion until fully absorbed. A facial oil works better for me than a regular moisturiser. Also, tea tree extracts have a very soothing effect on the skin.
Use this product for about a week or so and trust me, your skin will thank you for it!

Step 4: Anti-Pollution Cream With Shea ButterNext, I apply some face moisturiser. I choose this particular cream because it has anti-aging and anti-pollution skincare benefits. Since i already applied some facial oil, this lightweight moisturiser works wonderfully for me. The best thing about it is that it had visible effects on my skin. I could see my skin already glowing in the first few days.
You can use your own moisturiser too, just make sure it's not oil based. It can lead to excessive oiliness since we already applied a heavy facial oil. Also, if you shave often, the shea butter in it will smoothen the skin and prevent roughness on the shaved region.

Step 5: Lip Repair BalmEvery winter skincare routine for men must have a good lip balm. No one likes chapped and dark lips and a good lip balm will help you tackle that problem. I would recommend this lip balm with Vitamin E, Almond Oil and Mango Butter. It not only moisturises but also forms a protective layer over your lips. It’s a bit heavy so I like to reserve its use only for the winters.

Final Verdict: Easy & Effective Routine For Lazy Men!Being a lazy guy myself, I get it that you may not want to spend a lot of time and effort on your skin. Which is why, this short and simple routine is perfect for you. Trust me, winter skin care is very crucial. Dry and damaged skin can look very shabby. After all, you wouldn’t want to spoil all your dapper party looks.
