The ever-increasing batting records show just how good he has been with the willow. And, the fact he has the best win-loss ratio as captain when compared to his predecessors, highlights his efficiency in the leadership department.

But, Kohli's quality as a good leader isn't just governed by the number of matches he has won as Indian captain. In fact, for a man who has often been labelled as 'boorish' in his illustrious career, Kohli rarely gets credit for being compassionate and considerate towards others. 

Time and again, the Indian captain has given fans a glimpse of his underrated qualities but, sadly, it hasn't convinced the critics.
