As the farmers’ protest is continuing to grow bigger in the country, people,not only from India, but from across the globe are standing in solidarity with them in this revolution and it's the kind of unity we don't get to see every day.
As part of the 'Dilli Chalo' protest, farmers had been marching towards Delhi to peacefully fight against the Centre's farm laws that would curb their income, leaving them at the "mercy" of big corporates.

In a bid to show solidarity with farmers in India, protests have erupted across places in New York. People are also playing loud Punjabi patriotic songs on the roads to show their support.

Tens of thousands of farmers have arrived in tractors and trailers, many traveling hundreds of miles, to block roads into New Delhi and protest recently passed pro-market agricultural policies which they fear will lead to a takeover of the industry by large, politically connected corporations. In India, more than 60 percent of the population depends on agriculture to make a living.
Marching for days, facing down water cannons & teargas, sleeping on roads, and some even dying, these farmers are garnering support from all across the globe.
In order to show support to the farmers, the Sikh community in New York on Wednesday took to the streets. People in the videos can be seen shouting patriotic slogans with a placard in their hands which reads, “no farmer no food”.

While the Modi administration has said that India’s farm policies need to be reformed to attract more investment, farmers say they were never consulted on the changes.

The protest against the new farm laws is set to continue as talks between three Union ministers and farmer groups ended in a stalemate on Tuesday after they rejected the government's suggestion of a new committee to look into the issues raised by agitating farmers.
The two sides, however, have decided to meet again on Thursday.
