Farmers have been protesting against the farm bills at various locations in and around Delhi. People have been doing their best to extend their help to them. The talks between the farmer unions and the Indian government still remain inconclusive and the next round of talks is scheduled for today. 

The two bills that were presented two years ago in 2018 were holding key to loosening the deadlock between the government and the protesting farmers in North India. However, both the bills haven’t been considered yet.

Recently, a farmer was misidentified as an English speaking farmer and his video went viral on social media and people went berserk after looking at the video. The man can be seen arguing with a police officer during the protest. Turns out the man in the video wasn’t a farmer but a renowned Punjabi actor, Deep Sidhu.

He is another celebrity who has expressed his solidarity with the protesting farmers.

Deep studied law and after that, he joined modeling and participated in pageants such as Kingfisher Model Hunt and Grasim Mr. India.

He also practiced law with firms like Hammonds, Disney, Sony Pictures, and Balaji.

Later, Sidhu started acting at the age of 31 and debuted in the film titled Ramta Jogi. He got a lot of recognition in the Punjabi film industry with the commercial 2017 hit Jora: 10 Numbaria.

The sequel to the film released in the year 2020 March titled Jora: Second Chapter. He is also a dear friend of BJP MLA and actor Sunny Deol.
