The farmer's protest is making headlines all over the country and outside India as well. The farmers have held the protests peacefully and avoided any kind of violence.
Not only this, we also saw the farmers feeding food to the police officers who were beating them up. Farmers were seen cooking their own food amid the worst of the times and didn’t lose their identity in the heat of the moment.
Activists, artists, civil society members have been aiding them and stood with the farmers in the protest against the ‘black’ farm laws and also urged the people of the country to support the farmers in the same.
In the latest development, the farm leaders were having lunch at Vigyan Bhavan for talking to the government, and later they were seen eating their own food and not what was offered to them by the government.
"We Brought Our Own Food": Farmers Refuse Lunch At Meet With Government
When the Agriculture Minister offered them tea, they refused and offered him jalebi instead. They were also seen eating on the floor which is another sign of humility.
Also, this also shows that they will never be intimidated and will not accept charity. They are only fighting for their rights and nothing else.

Farmers continue to protest against the farm bills at many locations around Delhi and people have been extending their help to them. The two bills presented in the parliament in the year 2018 were holding key to loosening the deadlock between the government and the protesting farmers in North India. However, both the bills haven’t been considered yet.
Here’s what people on the internet have to say about the whole incident-
Nice, rich farmers beyond a certain income should refuse the subsidies and free water/power too.

We as a country need to stand united for what is right.
“This is not about saving our planet, it’s about saving ourselves. The truth is, with or without us, the natural world will rebuild. The living world will endure, we humans cannot presume the same.” ~ David Attenborough
