The on-going farmers' protest in the national capital against the new farm laws is only getting intense with every passing day. The farmers have been fighting against the farm laws imposed by the government for quite some time now.

The protest got support from all over the world and interestingly the recent one who supported the cause is pop icon Rihanna. She tweeted about the protest and since then it has brought in a lot of global attention.

Sharing a tweet she wrote, “why aren’t we talking about this?! #FarmersProtest”. While her tweet grabbed a lot of attention- Diljit Dosanjh couldn’t stop himself from sharing the pop icon’s picture on his Instagram story.

Diljit has now in fact released a song for Rihanna praising the singer. The song is titled RiRi(Rihanna), the song is dedicated to the singer, and looks like Diljit is extremely impressed by Rihanna’s gesture towards the farmers and is making sure that she knows that he appreciates the gesture.

The farmers have been protesting on different borders around Delhi since November 26 last year against the three farm laws introduced by the government. The farmers want the government to repeal the farm laws and have been protesting for over six weeks now.
