Karan Johar has introduced new talents in the past who are now a part of the Dharma family. In the recent past for Dharma Cornerstone Agency, he got Bulbul's Tripti Dimri and Guilty's Gurfateh Pirzada. The third talent, he introduced is Dhairya Karwa from the movie Uri - The Surgical Strike.

Karan took to Instagram, and introduced Dhariya as the new Dharma talent, and wrote, "Join me in welcoming @dhairya275 to the #DCASquad! He has a vibe that can captivate you in an instant! Having already earned rave reviews for his performance in #URI, he’s raring to prove his talent once again."

Soon after, he got one more offer and that was to play the role of Ravi Shastri in Ranveer Singh’s 83’. In an interview, Dhairya said that it was challenging to play Ravi but was equally fun to understand the cricketer’s charm. He also revealed that it was hard for him to adjust to Ravi Shastri's left-arm bowling as he is a right-hander.
