The world’s first hotel in space is only a few years away as it will finally become a reality by 2027. The construction of the hotel is expected to be completed before the end of the decade according to the group behind it, known as Orbital Assembly. The company plans to build the hotel in low Earth orbit in 2025 and will be called the ‘Voyager Station’ as reported by The Daily Mail.

Orbital Assembly plans to sell portions of the hotel to permanent stakeholders which are also being extended to government agencies. The company is also open to private landlords who would like to create a villa aboard the hotel craft.
The hotel is said to circle the globe every 90 minutes and will have artificial gravity similar to that on the moon. The company has not revealed how much it will cost to build the hotel.
“This will be the next industrial revolution,” said John Blincow, the founder of Gateway Foundation, which will run some of the Voyager’s pods, according to The Daily Mail. The rotation aspect is “vital,” he added.
