Sports keepsakes are always in high demand across the board.

Limited-edition exclusive collections created through collaborations between celebrities, sportspersons and brands, sports gear including sneakers and jerseys worn by players or even signed by them, have always been sold at sky-high price points for their massive fanbase.

In the last couple of weeks, NBA legend Michael Jordan's rookie card was sold for a record-breaking $738,000 which comes down to Rs 5,38,74,369.

Since then, more of his keepsakes are up for sale. One of the keepsakes, namely a pair of Air Jordan 1 is priced at 1 Million dollars which comes down to Rs 7,30,02,000. approximately.

The OG sneaker silhouette Air Jordan 1s is unworn and is designed in the iconic "Chicago" colourway.

This is being currently sold by eBay seller pinstripe_auctions. The sneakers have been autographed by Michael Jordan during his rookie year or his debut year.

Surprisingly, there are one of about 15 to 20 pairs of deadstock (never worn before sneakers) of Air Jordan 1s with the stock keeping unit of '850204TYPS' in existence.

Moreover, the seller has apparently reported that the Jordans are one of the two publicly verified deadstock pairs in existence with Michael Jordan's rookie signature.

There also seems to be a mismatch in size in the listing with sizes 13 and 13.5, which were built in 985 for Michael, as size 13.5 is not available on the racks right now.

While the price may seem far-fetched, to put things in perspective, a similar pair of game-worn Air Jordan 1 was sold at an auction for $615,000 last year, which comes down to Rs. 4,48,97,798.

The listing further reads, "Please do not miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to own one of the finest pairs of Air Jordan 1 player samples that were owned by Michael Jordan," the present eBay listing reads.

It also comes with a letter of authenticity, so it does check all the boxes in case, you're wondering.
