Bollywood has a serious problem of glorifying toxic relationships which mostly ends with the couple being tortured by each other and finally, patching up and riding into the sunset together in the end. 

In real life though, happy endings are quite different.

While a lot has been said about Bollywood boyfriends who are complete jerks (did you also think about Kabir Singh?), no one talks about the toxic girlfriends that Hindi movies have given us. 

Most of these female characters end up winning the guy, but some do get rightfully dumped by their partners who had had enough.

Here are some of the most annoying girlfriends, wives or fiancées from Bollywood movies who proved to be the worst partners that no guy would want to end up with in real life:

1. Taani from Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi

Apart from the fact that she was cheating on her husband, with her husband, she was simply too shallow and ungrateful. 

She goes on to fall in love with an eve-teasing douche with a horrible dress-sense instead of her very supportive and caring husband.

2. Tanu from Tanu Weds Manu

This one’s pretty obvious. She led Manu on even after rejecting him and while having a boyfriend on the side. 

She was indecisive, rude and selfish. We don’t know what made Madhavan choose her both times.

3. Ruchika (Chiku) from Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2

Chiku was annoying AF. She invades her boyfriend’s privacy to find his ex on social media, talks behind his back to her girlfriends and lies about her guy best friend, who clearly makes her boyfriend uncomfortable. 

Also, what’s up with all that baby-talk?

4. Natasha from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara

We wouldn’t wish the nagging and complaining Natasha to be the girlfriend of even our worst enemy. 

She was a buzzkill who crashed her fiancé’s bachelor trip because she got suspicious of him after seeing him talking to another girl on the video call. I mean, seriously. 

Kabir calls off the engagement in the end. Good for him. 

5. Karishma from Hasee Toh Phasee

Every time she got upset with her boyfriend, Karishma’s only weapon was to threaten to dump him. 

She expects a lot from him and instead of talking it out like an adult, she told him she’d break up with him because she knew he won’t let the relationship go. Real mature, Karishma!
