The trailer of this year’s much awaited and one of the biggest releases, Shershaah dropped last night on the internet. The movie stars Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role who essays the reel version of the real life Kargil war hero, Captain Vikram Batra. The movie also stars Kiara Advani as his love interest.

The trailer begins with stunning visuals of the mountains and a young Vikram being inducted in the army. The character growth of Vikram is shown in the trailer itself and by the end of it, you’ll manage to be intrigued enough to watch this movie. After a very long time we’ll get to see a war movie of this scale, courtesy the production magic of Dharma Productions. The story looks convincing and the last scene where he says “dil maange more” is extremely powerful.

The trailer looks convincing enough that it gallantly depicts the story of Kargil’s war hero who is not just remembered as a brave soldier sacrificing for his country, but is a big inspiration for everyone in the country. Kiara plays the quintessential role of the girl lead who is always the love interest. She’s come a long way with her choice of movies and her acting skills being honed with each project she takes up. The trailer has already garnered a lot of love on social media.

Overall, looks like it is a must-watch and also not to forget, with the burden of a big and powerful movie on his shoulders, this one will surely be a milestone in Sid’s career. The movie releases on 12th August on Prime Video.
