As soon as the news of the demise of much loved actor Sushant Singh Rajput broke, all fingers pointed at his girlfriend at the time, Rhea Chakraborty. She was wrapped up in the drug case related to SSR’s death and was also arrested during the NCB probe.

Her career was obviously impacted as haters swore to boycott her films. Her last movie Chehre which released this year, almost a year after SSR’s death, was also slammed by trolls.

The rumor has it that Rhea has been approached by three of the top international talent agencies and she might make her Hollywood debut soon. Since Bollywood fans aren’t very keen on watching her on the big screen, it only makes sense for her to foray into a different film industry.

It was reported recently by a reputed entertainment portal that three casting companies from the West are in talks with Chakraborty and the actress is yet to make a decision and take her pick from the three offers.

The news didn’t meet with applause, appreciation or even good wishes, but the complete opposite. Haters trolled her for taking a step towards making a Hollywood debut and the response from the moral police online got nasty.

They targeted her looks, character and obviously the conspiracies related to Sushant’s death which we don’t think would be criteria for the casting agencies for hiring an ‘actor’. These things have nothing to do with her career or talent, and it’s not entirely fair to her.

Rhea Chakraborty was found “not guilty” of illicit trafficking and drug dealing and there was no evidence of her committing any offence according to the court. She was harassed by media, fans of SSR and is still trolled on every post she makes on any social media platform despite getting a clean chit in the SSR death case.
