Shahid Kapoor has had his fair share of hits and misses in his career. But the audience was left impressed with his immaculate acting skills in Kabir Singh. 

Even though he played the role of an obsessive and possessive lover in the movie, it still intrigued us. Besides that, Kiara Advani's and Shahid on-screen chemistry too became the talk of the town. 

As a character, Kabir Singh is shown as a short-tempered man. However, Shahid's real-life wife, Mira Rajput, has found a way to tame the unruly character.

Mira is a fitness enthusiast, and she recently spoke about the benefits of the breathing technique 'anulom vilom'. 

On Monday, Mira announced a virtual yoga workshop and told her fans to send in any questions they might have. While there were many queries, one of them read, 'Kabir Singh zindabad.'

To this, Mira had a mind-blowing reply, as she said, "Usse anulom vilom ki zaroorat hai. Shant rahega." When translated, she is saying that Kabir Singh needs 'anulom vilom' to calm himself down.

In the movie, the hot-headed surgeon becomes hopelessly inebriated after his partner, Preeti, gets married to someone else. Also, there are multiple scenes where Kabir's anger is quick to rise to the fore.

The movie was highly applauded, but it was also criticised for promoting 'toxic masculinity'. Despite that, it was a box office hit as it earned Rs 250 crore. 

Shahid, in fact, thanked his fans when the movie completed a year for giving such an intense character so much love.

He added, "kabirsingh was never just a film to me.. it was an emotional arc that was raw.. bare.. unabashed .. honest .. fearless .. REAL!! In a time where people are quick to judge (others not themselves) you understood him. You understood our interpretation of the angst of a broken heart. This one will always be special. So so special."
