‘I Need It As Much As Anyone' When Vinod Khanna Got Candid About Sex & Jaws Hit The Floor


Vinod Khanna earned his place in the industry after his stellar performance in the movie Qurbani back in 1980. The film was offered to Big B, who had turned it down at the time, but this became a huge advantage for Vinod Khanna. 

Apart from that, before his debut movie, he had also completed his studies. He earned a commerce degree from Sydenham College, but he decided to entertain on the silver screen despite being highly educated.

The actor was born on 6th October 1946. After he ventured into Bollywood, there was no going back for him as his work was loved by people and the critics too. 

On the occasion of his birth anniversary, we take a look at one of his anecdotes.

Vinod Khanna passed away in 2017 after struggling with cancer for years. 

On his birth anniversary, we remember the time when he was bold and wouldn't shy away talking about taboo topics. 

He once straightforwardly spoke about *** before moving away from the industry and went on a spiritual journey with Osho.

In an old video, he is seen smoking a cigarette and talks about ***, saying he needs it as much as anyone else does. 

This old video has now resurfaced on the internet. He is heard saying, "Well, I was a bachelor and I am no saint as far as women are concerned. I need *** as much as anybody else does. Without women we won’t be here, without *** we won’t be here, so why should anybody object to my being with women.”

Vinod Khanna started his career as a villain in the industry. 

His character in Man Ka Meet was highly appreciated. He further gained recognition with Mera Gaon Mera Desh as he played the role of Jabbar Singh. 

He also gave other hits, including Muqaddar Ka Sikandar, The Burning Train, Amar Akbar Anthony etc.
