Cricket is the most followed sport in the country and whenever our team does well, people from all quarters of life take to social media to congratulate them on their achievement.
While most people do it due to their love for the game, some do it just to look cool on social media. The FOMO is so real that they don’t care about the consequences.

India’s young brigade gave the whole country a moment of joy as they lifted the ICC Under-19 World Cup for the record-extending fifth time, with a convincing win over England in the summit clash in Antigua.

However, in doing so he made a glaring mistake as he posted a picture of India’s Under-19 World Cup winning squad from 2018, instead of the current one led by Yash Dhull on his Instagram story.

By the time, the 40-year-old actor could realise his mistake it was too late as people had already taken screenshots and they began trolling him mercilessly.
The reason why people were so upset with Shahid was because they expected an actor who has done a cricket-based movie that is yet to be released to know better than this.
People are right in saying that this happens only when people don’t follow the sport but still portray on social media as if they know everything, just to look cool.

To save himself from this embarrassment, all Shahid needed to do was a small Google search. It would have done the job for him.
Before you all start judging me for unnecessarily targeting a celebrity for an unfortunate mistake, let me make it clear that I don’t intend to laugh at his expense. And also, I don’t encourage trolling of any kind.

Instead of looking like a fool in front of the whole world, it would be better if people stop pretending and start accepting their limitations.
