Advait Chandan's Laal Singh Chaddha, starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead roles, is one of the most-hyped films of 2022. Ever since its announcement, the movie has been making headlines and fans are eagerly waiting for its release. However, their wait got a little longer as the makers recently pushed it from April to August this year. Earlier slated to hit the theatres on April 14, Laal Singh Chaddha will now release on August 11.

Aamir fans are waiting for the film as it marks his return to the big-screen after around four years post the release of Thugs of Hindostan in 2018. Also, the film has been making buzz as Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan were supposed to do cameos in Laal Singh Chaddha. However, the latest rumours suggest that Salman is no longer a part of it. 

Reportedly, Salman's part has been chopped off from Laal Singh Chaddha. Revealing the same, a source informed Bollywood Hungama, "Aamir had reserved a special part for Salman in Laal Singh Chaddha, however, with the date of release nearing, he has decided to chop that off completely. While multiple attempts were made to shoot the cameo, the dates of Salman couldn’t match. So, he is no longer a part of Laal Singh Chaddha".

Well, this is indeed sad news for the superstar's fans. In the film, which spans over five decades, Salman was expected to appear as Prem from his Maine Pyar Kiya days.

Well, SRK is still a part of Laal Singh Chaddha and will make an appearance as Raj from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge days. Talking about Shah Rukh Khan's cameo, the source added, "Shah Rukh has already shot for his appearance in Laal Singh Chaddha. The shoot was done in early 2020, right before the pandemic in Delhi. In fact, it was Aamir Khan himself who directed SRK in his cameo appearance".

For the unversed, Laal Singh Chaddha is the official remake of Tom Hanks-starrer Hollywood classic Forrest Gump. Jointly produced by Viacom18 Studios, Aamir Khan Productions, and Paramount Pictures, the movie also marks the much-awaited Bollywood debut of South star Naga Chaitanya in a pivotal role.
