Following their historic outing in Australia, the Indian cricket team is all set to embark on a new challenge before they head to England for the all-important ICC World Cup. The Virat Kohli brigade will now travel to New Zealand where they'll lock horns with the Kiwis in a five-match One-Day International (ODI) series.
And, as the Indian team gears up for their first clash, Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan has given a glimpse of how he is preparing for the upcoming tour. Taking to Instagram, the Delhi cricketer shared a video of himself sweating it out in the gym.
The left-hander was seen pulling off dead-lifts and back row during a training session. While 'Gabbar' was making the most of the team's training session, his teammates Kedar Jadhav and Yuzvendra Chahal were seen mocking the opening batsman with their dance moves in the background.View this post on Instagram

On the cricket front, Dhawan had a pretty decent tour of Australia. His batting prowess was in full display during the three-match T20I series where he was also adjudged the 'Man of the Series'. However, the left-hander, despite getting some starts, couldn't replicate his success in the ODI series.
Exercising with such power and intensity, Dhawan seems to have set his sight on tearing the Kiwis bowling line-up apart when Team India takes on New Zealand in the 1st ODI at the McLean Park on 23rd January.
