The Redmi Note 7 Was Thrown From A Staircase & Used As A Skateboard & Yet No Damage Was Done

The Redmi Note 7 was launched earlier this month in China, and the phone's biggest feature that has been advertised is its durability. In order to prove their claims, the company released a video where the smartphone was put through a bunch of stress tests. The video shows employees stomping on the Redmi Note 7, throwing it down the staircase and also a man used it as a skateboard.

The first video below shows Redmi CEO Lu Weibing throwing the Redmi Note 7 down a staircase and it suffered multiple tosses yet did not suffer any bumps or scratches. Another user used the smartphone as a skateboard by sticking wheels with duct tape. Even in this scenario, the Redmi Note 7 did not suffer any scratches or any other form of damage. This was possible thanks to the phantom grade double-sided Corning Gorilla Glass 5 body that protects the smartphone from such ordeals.

In terms of other specifications, the Redmi Note 7 has a dual 48-megapixel camera set up at the back, 4,000 mAh battery and a teardrop notch display. Redmi is now a separate sub-brand of Xiaomi and its first phone is the Redmi Note 7 that has already been launched in China. The Redmi Note 7 features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ (2340x1080 pixels) display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core SoC paired with 3GB, 4GB, and 6GB RAM options along with 32GB and 64GB storage options.
