Woman Asks For A Divorce After Her Husband Tries To Stop Her From Playing PUBG Mobile

There hasn't been a crazy PUBG Mobile news about people getting arrested, or someone losing their life playing the game in a long time. Yes, we thought the PUBG Mobile addiction storm had settled, until we heard the news about this crazy woman who's now seeking a divorce from her husband.

Why, you ask? Well, it looks like he attempted to stop her from playing the game. As bizarre as it sounds, we hate to admit that it's a real thing. A woman in the UAE has sought a divorce from her husband over a battle royale game. Welcome to 2019?

According to Gulf News, the director of the social center at Ajman Police, Captain Wafa Khalil Al Hosani told that they recently received this case where a woman in her 20s  wanted to divorce her husband over not being allowed to play PUBG Mobile.

Apparently, the husband noticed his wife's increasing addiction to the game. He then decided to stop her from playing it so she could focus on the family. The woman, according to the captain, justified her demand for divorce by saying that she was being deprived of her right to choose her means of entertainment. She said, “she derived pleasure and comfort from the game”.

She also noted that her game timings were well under limits, and she had disabled the chat option to stay away from strangers during the games. The man, however, maintained his stand and noted said he wasn't trying to deprive her of anything. He just wanted to take the necessary measures and keep the family together. He clearly didn't see the divorce coming, did he?
