Akshay Kumar's new film Good Newwz along with co-stars Kareena Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh, and Kiara Advani is set to release on 27 December 2019 and Akshay, in particular, is going all out with promotions. For example, he seems to have taken a keen interest in making his outfits so quirky that it's bound to raise brows wherever he goes.

Now, we know that celebrities have started investing in stylists and trendsetting outfits as part of their promotion strategy. A major proponent of this has been Ranveer Singh, who doesn't usually step out in regular clothes anymore. 

Akshay Kumar's co-star Diljit Dosanjh is also really passionate about his outfits. His closet is a pandora's box of the most vibrant sneakers and silhouettes that we often get to see whenever he steps.

Coming back to Akshay Kumar, for a recent promotional event, the star wore a pair of shorts over his joggers. Don't believe us? Take a look here:

It almost looks like he was rather protective of his joggers, so much so, that he had to wear a pair of shorts over them just so he wouldn't sit on anything with his joggers touching the surface and subsequently getting spoilt. The shorts, in this case, act as a protective layer. However, that's obviously not the case. 

This look is a vibe and we're all for it.
