Apple's AirPods Pro has been one of those products that have continued to become better since its launch. The company has been constantly pushing updates, improving the audio quality, and more. Now, there's a new feature for the AirPods Pro that turns them into a home theater for your ears.

With the arrival of iOS 14, the AirPods Pro get virtual surround sound that's surprisingly impressive. It's called Spatial Audio and it looks Apple has managed to pull it off quite well. Instead of hearing everything in stereo, Spatial Audio will make you feel like you're in the middle of the action. A lot of apps support the spatial audio feature, so you're not going to miss out on the content too.

Apple says it uses an algorithm to convert surround sound (5.1, 7.1, or Dolby Atmos) into spatial audio. From there, the company is relying on directional audio filters and adjusts the frequencies going to each ear to achieve the immersion effect. This is one of those things which you truly have to experience for yourself.
