Here’s Why Apple Didn’t Announce The Expected AirPods Studio And Other Accessories This Week

Apple hosted its annual iPhone special event two days ago where the company usually announces the new iPhone and accessories that go along with it. Apple announced the iPhone 12, 12 mini and the 12 Pro models, however there were other accessories that were expected to launch which didn't make the cut. Apple did announce one of the rumoured accessories i.e. HomePod Mini but there was no sign of AirPods Studio and AirTags.

Prosser also detailed that AirTags are completely finished and Apple is simply waiting for the right time to announce the tracker. The trackers have been long-rumoured to launch as it basically works like Tile tracking devices that can be attached to belongings and gadgets. Sources say that Apple may launch AirTags after support for the devices will be rolled out with the iOS 14.3 set to release next month. There’s a good chance that the AirTags will be announced next month alongside new Macbook laptops and even have features that would work with the ARM-based devices.

AirPods Studio was leaked earlier this year in the iOS 14 Beta code and we know at least two colours are in the works for the upcoming headphones. Rumours have suggested the headphones will cost $349 and will have active noise cancellation features.
