US Elections Have Turned Indians Into The ‘Pados Wali Aunty’ Who Can’t Mind Her Own Business

The USA has the age-old problem of assuming that the entire world revolved around it, and nothing proves that more than the ongoing US elections.

But, even then, the presidential fight between Donald Trump and Joe Biden has turned Indians into the mohalle wali aunties who can't mind their own business and just have to know what is going around in the other part of the world. It's pretty amusing, to be honest.

This would be really funny if it wasn't so sad.

— Nyus App (@nyus_app) November 4, 2020 I'm so glad we didn't get a sequel of that this time.

Back in 2016, while the rest of the world was obsessing over Trump winning US Elections, Modiji decided to come on TV and cancel our currency.

Sweet sweet memories.

— Meghnad (@Memeghnad) November 4, 2020 Okay but this fits the situation perfectly.

Both Biden and Trump have already declared their victory in #USElection

Indians are watching US elections as if it is the cricket final of World Cup India VS Pakistan #USAElections2020 pic.twitter.com/DhzLGNfhNV

— Disha Malik (@thestoryte11er_) November 4, 2020 Probably.

India mei US election sirf House of Cards dekhne waalo ko samajh aa jaata hai.

— Pakchikpak Raja Babu (@HaramiParindey) November 4, 2020 No, they would've voted for Trump.

The kind of interest Indians have in US elections, it's a shame that we are not allowed to vote in their elections.#VOTE

— Sarcastic Code (@codebite) November 3, 2020 One can hope.

I hope Indians show the same enthusiasm they have for US elections when we have our elections

— Varina (@Varina_s) November 4, 2020

Sounds about right.

Oops.

The way Indians are following the US elections and don't even know the candidates of their own state elections 🤭🤭

— parth (@jock_2210) November 3, 2020 Yep.

Indians are more glued to US elections than Bihar

— Vikram Goel (@VikramGoel13) November 5, 2020 For sure.

Seems like Indians are more excited for the US elections y'all should first vote the trash out in your own country

— Nadia (@Naadiraahmed) November 4, 2020 Conspiracy theory.

Yaar last time demonetizaton kar diya, this time they arrested arnab. What is it with Indians wanting to steal us elections' thunder

— Swara | albert einstein stein acc (@honestlyswara) November 4, 2020 Sad reality.

Its funny to see Indians worry about US elections while our backyard is a constant dumpster fire.

— Naren is on an adventure (@DudeWhoCode) November 4, 2020 Not Prithviraj Chauhan?

not the same indians commenting on us elections but ask them of indias president and they will say amit shah

— ᴮᴱ shroob ⁷ ✜ (@shruburb) November 4, 2020 The tea is really hot.

I'm so amused and also angry at people (Indians) who are posting about the US elections so passionately and remain absolutely quiet when there are political disturbances in our own country and have the audacity to say "I'm not interested in politics yaar" like dude **** OFF

— juhi (@notchawla) November 4, 2020 Funny.

Indians are looking at the US elections trend like they gon get American citizenship for free

— Curly chechi (@curlymallu) November 4, 2020 Yes.

Is it US elections or us (in)elections? The Indians being vocal and enthu about States elections are the same lot of people who don't cast their votes just because it's too hot outside.

— Abhishek Ranjan (@Abhi_speaks03) November 4, 2020 A far-fetched dream.

If Indians only cared as much for their country’s elections and problems as they do for US elections, what a place we could have been in.

*Sigh*
