The wait is over, well, almost.

After going almost an entire year without any of the previously highly anticipated movies of the year, we finally have a release date for at least one of them. Wonder Woman 1984 is finally releasing on Christmas day and hopefully, we won't have to wait much longer after that for its release in India.

And, to amp up the excitement for the movie even more, the latest trailer has done a great job to psyche up the fans.

From kickass fight scenes to a new for her to tackle, here are some of the takeaways from the new trailer.

1. More focus on Diana’s childhood

A little Diana, looking as fierce as ever, all ready to fight. Looks like the movie will show more from her childhood and honestly, who doesn't want to see more of formidable women kicking ass.

More character background and history, especially for a character like Diana, is always welcome.

2. The creation of Cheetah, showing a new kind of Good-to-Bad villain

Friends to foe will be a great plotline because it will be really interesting to see how it plays out. Moreover, the glimpse of the fight scene we got already look pretty cool.

While the Cheetah is kinda creepy to look at, let's see how good of a villain Barbara is against Diana.

3. Steve’s sense of humour is still intact

Chris Pine is really climbing up the 'best Chris of Hollywood' list and him as Steve is a big, big advantage for him. After seemingly dying in the first movie, he's back and it really looked like Diana saw a ghost when she saw him.

Can't wait for the explanation behind his survival, and at lease, he's still as funny as ever.

4. The epic clash between Wonder Woman & the Cheetah

As mentioned above, the friends to foe storyline will obviously be quite entertaining and I'm already predicting that the final show down between Wonder Woman and Cheetah will be worth it.

5. Parachute Pants

"Does everybody parachute now?" Well, yes apparently.

Chris Pine's outfit and his confusion over these parachute pants is already pretty hilarious, and the fact that he's wearing a fanny pack before that makes it all the more better.
