PM Modi Said Covid-19 Vaccine Might Be Out In A Few Weeks & This Is The News We'd Been Waiting For

The one and only thing people have desperately been waiting for since March is the Covid-19 vaccine. It's been a long year and people are tired of it, but looks like our wait is over.

Speaking at the All Party Meeting, PM Narendra Modi addressed one of the most important things that need addressing right now and gave everyone the good news about the vaccine development in India.

He said that the vaccine could be available in a few weeks and that's honestly the kind of positive news we needed right now.

In the virtual meeting, he said that the frontline workers who have been risking their lives for months along with elderly people with serious ailments will be among the first to get the vaccination.

However, another point he mentioned in the meeting is a little confusing. He talked about how deliberations are underway with the states about the pricing and distribution of the vaccine but shouldn't the vaccine be free for everyone?

In today's all-party meeting, we hope the PM clarifies by when will every Indian get free Covid vaccine.

हमें आशा है कि आज सर्वदलीय बैठक में PM ये स्पष्ट करेंगे कि हर भारतीय को मुफ़्त कोरोना वैक्सीन कब तक दी जाएगी।

Talking about the distribution of the vaccine once it's rolled out, he said, "India has vaccine distribution expertise and capacity. We are far better than several other countries in this regard. We have a vast and experienced vaccination network and the country will capitalize on these advantages."

People also have suggestions as to who all should be prioritized for the vaccine.

@PMOIndia @PMOIndia @drharshvardhan Request you to include SANITARY & POLICE Personnel in Priority vaccine group! They have done yeoman job & hv sacrificed their lives also. Please, please, Please. Kindly note, I am not in any priority group.
You must hv planned very well https://t.co/u7oroKCuvN

It really should be free.

Honourable PM sir,the cost of vaccine should be in range of reach of poor people . The price must be that low that a person sleeping on footpath could also be able to afford it. https://t.co/CCW2J5jUPZ

Wow.

Sir, Your remarks at the all parties meeting about COVID-19 would be a roadmap to fight against COVID-19 and update on its vaccine and it's progress. India's recovery rate 94.2% shows, that we are on right track to fight against COVID-19 and have saved & saving many lives
