Bride Gets A Heart Attack While Crying During ‘Bidaai’ & It’s Scarier Than A Hindi Film Plot Twist


Weddings are a huge deal in India. There is excessive drama, a lot of fun, people getting drunk and also we see many people crying. And why not, after all a daughter leaves her home to live with her husband. However, no-one can expect something this tragic.

Recently, a newlywed woman who was still wearing her bridal lehenga died of a heart attack due to excessive crying during her bidaai ceremony.

According to News18, a heart attack was caused due to crying continuously or stress-induced at that moment. This incident took place in Sonepur, Odisha. The bidaai took place on Friday morning and at that time the bride was healthy and put-together.

 Gupteswari Sahoo (Rosy), was born to Murali Sahoo and Menaka of Julunda village in Binika block in the district. She was wed to Bisikesan Pradhan of Tentulu village and the wedding was small and happened at the girl’s parental home.

At the time of her bidaai, she was seen crying inconsolably and she kept on crying continuously without stopping. The onlookers also reported that she cried so much that she fainted and a guest who attended the wedding also said that Rosy was distressed as her father also passed away a few months ago.

Many people tried to revive her as people thought that she faints under emotional duress. However, once Rosy collapsed all her family members tried to revive her and bring her back to consciousness but nothing worked.

She was then taken to Dunguripali CHC emergency and there the doctors declared her dead on arrival. The cause of death was identified as cardiac failure.
