Apple has been long rumoured to host an event later this month and it seems like the date may just have leaked. The leak comes from renowned Apple leaker Jon Prosser who has predicted accurate dates for Apple events and products in the recent past. This particular event is expected to be held on March 23rd and will feature new hardware. However, it is still unclear which products Apple may finally launch. Nonetheless, these are some of the products Apple is rumoured to launch later this month.

Apple’s wireless earbuds do need a new design refresh especially since they have been using the same design for years with incremental upgrades. The new AirPods are expected to have a similar design as the AirPods Pro albeit without the ability to use active noise cancellation. The new AirPods are expected to have support for Dolby Atmos content and spatial audio as well. The new AirPods were expected to launch sometime in 2020, however it was probably delayed for the March announcement. There’s a very good chance we will get to see the new AirPods later this month according to recent leaks.

2020 was a huge year for gaming and it seems like Apple wants a slice of that pie too. Apple has already rolled out services like Apple Arcade and it seems the company now wants a device that can play console-level games in people’s living rooms. Apart from being a streaming device, the new Apple TV is also expected to run games, thanks to an upgraded SoC for better performance. The new Apple TV is also expected to come with a new remote design since the earlier version was not loved by users universally.

The new iPad Pro 2021 is probably going to be announced for Apple’s March Event just like last year and it is expected to look more or less the same as last year’s tablet. The housing is expected to be the same as the design works quite well for the tablet, however there is a good chance that it may come with thinner bezels. Apple may also upgrade the display technology on the new iPad Pro as there are rumours of mini-LED screens being used instead of the usual LCD screen. Rumours also suggest the iPad Pro is expected to come in an 11-inch and 12.9-inch model.

We are yet to see an iPad mini with a new design since Apple launched the last model way back in 2019. A new iPad mini is due for a while and rumours suggest that the smaller iPad will take influence from the Pro lineup similar to the iPad Air 2020 design. The new iPad mini is expected to get rid of the thick bezels and the home button and instead use the same housing as the iPad Air albeit smaller. The tablet might come with a fingerprint sensor on the home button as well and have support for the Apple Pencil 2.
