Reddit, much like the rest of the Internet, can be quite funny, as well as a brutal place. 

However, there have been times when it has shown that it has a gentler, and a much more philanthropic side to it.

Recently a man took to the microblogging site to ask fellow Redditors to help him deal with a rather bizarre situation. 

The man says he needs help in dealing with his partner, who wants to have *** with an old friend of theirs, as he is unable to have *** himself due to his anatomy. 

Apparently, before they began dating, his partner had promised this old friend that they would have *** someday.

According to the post that he put up, he is unable to have *** with his partner because of a physical anomaly, which has rendered his ***** with a rather steep curve. 

He says, “One of the most distressing issues is the fact that my ***** is so curved that it’s functionally impossible for ***. And they want to have *** with this friend. Which I'm not OK with. And there's the threat of break-up if I continue disliking it.”

He further adds that he feels sexually handicapped. He says - "I can't stomach watching porn and realising I'm sexually handicapped for life.”

Another aspect of distress that he has was concerning his progeny. He wrote in the post, “I’ll never be able to have that. I'll never be able to go through the process of making a child together properly.”

He also wrote about the prospects of having to watch his partner get intimate with another person, right in front of his eyes(that’s how his partner wants it, the post said), is a daunting thing, and that he doesn’t have the stomach to accept this.

At a time when men’s virility and their sexual prowess is one of the major ways that toxic masculinity hurts men, Reddit, for a surprise, took kindly to the man’s plight, and largely came out in support of him, offering him some sound advice.

One Redditor said, "Go to a doctor. There may be surgeries that can correct this condition. I assume you are fairly young and you should not have to go through life like this."

Another one chimed in saying, "Just end it and focus on yourself because you don't need this negativity and stress in your life. It's not worth it, it's not healthy and you deserve better.”

Another Redditor commented, saying “Your partner is not obligated to have *** with her friend. Nobody is ever obligated to have ***. Not even after a promise.” 

This person also added “There is nothing forcing your partner to do this. She wants to have *** with her friend. The past promise doesn't matter. It is just an excuse."
