When people accept their bodies and proudly flaunt them on social media, it is a great moment indeed which serves as inspiration and motivation to a lot of people.
For Elliot Page, it is a little bit more special.

Elliot Page posted his first shirtless photograph on Instagram, which practically broke the internet.
The comments section of his post, was clearly envious of the toned abs that they displayed. People just couldn’t stop praising his lean and muscular physique, and appreciate the hard work that Elliot must have put in.

Starting from Oprah Winfrey to Miley Cyrus, celebrities from all over the world, just couldn’t stop thirsting over the image, and the confidence that Elliot exudes. This included some really notable bodybuilders as well.
To understand why this is important, one has to consider Page’s history. Having come out first as a homosexual in 2014, and then finally as a trans person, Page transitioned from Ellen to Elliot in December 2020.
He is the first openly trans man to have been featured in the TIME Magazine, which, given its socio-political ramifications, is a huge step forward for the LGBTQI movement.

While many guys struggle to get a set of decent looking 6 pack abs while they are working out at the gym, Elliot managed to get a damn impressive 8 pack.
Elliot has been very vocal as an activist for trans rights, and he often takes to Instagram to put up videos highlighting the issues faced by trans people.
Earlier this month, he appeared on The Oprah Conversation on Apple TV and spoke extensively on the subject.

Even Oprah couldn’t resist.

But most importantly, it was people like these that must have put a smile on Elliot’s face.

Again, back to the thirst comments.

It really is a proud moment for trans rights activists and for trans people, that a trans man is being celebrated for a change, for just being.
