5 Characters From Popular Hindi Shows Who Were Annoying AF & Made Us Scream Inside

There are many shows that make it to our favorite list but some characters ruin the show for the audience. We love the storyline and are thrilled for the release of the next season but we aren’t happy about some characters that appear in the show.

These characters don’t have depth, or their dialogues aren’t well researched or their acting is just beyond our understanding. We watch these shows but we could totally do without these characters.

So, here’s a list of five characters from popular Hindi shows who were annoying AF-

Tamanna in Bandish Bandits

Bandish Bandits starred Ritwik Bhowmik, Shreya Chaudhry, and Naseeruddin Shah. The show revolves around Radhe played by Ritwik who is a singing prodigy determined to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps. Tamanna played by Shreya is a rising pop sensation desperate to become India's first international pop star.

However, the series was very well received by the audience and the lead actor’s performance was praised. Tamanna’s character in the series was phony and immature which often made it difficult for us to concentrate on the good part.

Umang Singh in Four More Shots Please

Umang Singh is played by Bani J and she plays the role of a lesbian who is trying to find herself. However, her dialogue delivery is extremely off in the show and her acting skills should also have been better.

Samar Pratap Singh in Tandav

This is a political thriller series and the role of Samar Pratap Singh is played by Saif Ali Khan and he acted extremely well in the show. However, the character, in general, has very few likable qualities and at times makes us question his decisions.

Anmol Malhotra in Mismatched

The character, Anmol Malhotra, can be seen using a wheelchair, in a series that is not primarily on disability. Against the usual practice of including disabled characters only in films that have an underlying theme on disability, this romantic drama features Anmol Malhotra as one of the supporting characters, without over-emphasizing his disability.

Ayesha in Bombay Begums

This Indian drama web series was created by Alankrita Shrivastava. Ayesha plays the role of a bisexual and belongs to Indore and is new in Mumbai. The series explores drug abuse, blackmail, broken dreams, and aspirations of these characters. However, she is just going with the flow and often messes up most of the things.
