Extending this conversation, here are 7 more times Bollywood music was unexpectedly featured in Hollywood.

Who doesn't remember this iconic scene? Dopender and his car playlist was declared 'lit' by every desi watching the movie.

2. 'Chhaiya Chhaiya' in Inside Man

Apparently, a lot of people thought their TV set was malfunctioning when the starting credits of the movie started blaring Chhaiya Chhaiya for no apparent reason.

3. 'Humne Tumko Dekha' in Shaun Of The Dead

When this Sacha Baron Cohen starrer's trailer dropped, Indians were pleasantly surprised to see Mundiya Tu Bachke Rahi featured in it.

5. 'Chamma Chamma' in Moulin Rouge

A version of this classic featuring Urmila Matondkar's inimitable steps in the original, was featured in the movie Moulin Rouge.

6. Multiple songs in Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind

Retro Bollywood played a key role in this iconic scene, where multiple songs including Mera Mann Tera Pyasa and Wada Naa Tod were featured.

This was a representation of the reckless abandon of Bollywood music at its best, as the protagonist breaks into a full on dance number while the song plays in the background.
