‘In The Night No Control’ When Raveena Asked Rekha To Keep Her Hands Off Akshay Kumar

Once upon a time, Akshay 'Khiladi' Kumar was known to be a ladies man. His name was associated with a lot of women and he was also rumored to be a heartbreaker. One of the most famous love stories that didn’t work out in Bollywood was that of superstars Raveena Tandon and Akshay Kumar. The two even got secretly engaged but the relationship ended after the actress accused him of being disloyal.

While the two were going strong, they starred together in Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi. The movie garnered a lot of attention courtesy the chemistry explored between Akshay Kumar and Rekha. The song titled In The Night No Control particularly was way too progressive in terms of aesthetic vision.

According to various reports , this did not go down well with Raveena who was engaged to Akshay back then.

"I don't think Akshay ever had anything to do with Rekha. As a matter of fact, he would run away from her. Akshay tolerated Rekha because of the film. At one point she wanted to get lunch dabbas for him from home. That's when I put my foot down. I felt it was taking things a bit too far”, she said in an old interview.

In another interview with Cine Blitz, she talked about it. “If this actress knows that we are together yet gets too close to Akshay, I will get my claws into her. But Akshay knows how to handle the situation I guess," she said.
