No matter how much we cringe in retrospect looking at old Dharma movies, there will always be a part of us that will remember its dialogues word for word and would want to recreate scenes from those movies every chance we get. And turns out, we aren’t the only ones who would do that.

Actor Ranveer Singh has proven he is just like us after he availed the opportunity of recreating an iconic scene from the hit film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai with actress Kajol and Karan Johar, at the grand finale of his show - The Big Picture.

The actor and host welcomed the two ‘stalwarts’ of the industry as guests on his grand finale, with Karan Johar making his grand entry on a rickshaw, while Kajol walked in looking lovely as ever in red. The trio then spent a lot of time reminiscing with them how it was working on big films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. 

Ranveer Singh, being the good sport and great actor he is, didn’t let go of this opportunity to enact the famous basketball scene with Kajol and even ended up playing a hand of ball with the actress. 

This wasn’t the first time that the actor recreated such a scene with so much perfection, for a couple of weeks ago when the film Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham completed 20 years, Ranveer and Alia Bhatt recreated a scene from the movie where Alia played the role of Poo, and Ranveer played the part of Rohan aka Hrithik Roshan. Seems like, Ranveer really is growing a taste for Dharma productions!

Meanwhile, Karan Johar also ended up spilling a lot of secrets from the time of shooting KKHH, as he shared how Kajol was made to wear a headband in the film due to an issue with her wig, however, they couldn’t have guessed that the look would go on to become so popular at the time. Karan even made a pun on it by saying, “Kuch kuch galtiyaan iconic bann jaati hai!"

The grand finale is set to air on Colors TV and Voot on 8th and 9th of January.
