The annual â65th Filmfare Awards 2020â last night was a night full of glitz and glamour where all our favourite stars descended down on the red carpet and entertained the audience with what they do best. 

Here is a list of five best moments which defined the night for us:

1. Gully Boyâs big sweep 

One of the biggest movies of last year in terms of good content and a stellar star cast, Gully Boy won all the big awards including the best actor, best actress, best supporting actor, best supporting actor (Sidhant Chaturvedi) and best supporting actress as well.  Ranveer shared a post exclaiming his excitement on receiving his award from Madhuri Dixit.

2. Ananya Pandayâs (not surprising) nepotism win

The cute actress won the award for the best debutante for SOTY 2 & Pati Patni Aur Woh. Now we are probably no authoritative figure to judge but her acting skills need some serious brushing and while we love a beautiful face on screen, we donât know how an award for this is justified bro.

3. Ranveer & Kartikâs Love Aajkal moment

As if he didnât torture us enough in his latest stint in Love Aajkal, Kartik Aaryan thought heâll share a âbromanticâ picture with Ranveer Singh in the same pose as the movieâs poster. Well, I think probably if that happens, it has a better chance of working out for fans than the sad aesthetic we got with this film.

4. Ayushmann Khurranaâs emotional letter

Ayushmann won the well-deserved âbest actorâ award for Article 15.  Being the beautiful man that he is, his style is a resonance of his own personality and his emotional note on his social media is proof of his phenomenal talent.

5. Vicky Kaushalâs dance moves

Vicky is a smooth guy and with his choice of movie and the PR around him as a brand, we only end up liking him more than we did in the previous year. This award saw Vicky burn the Filmfare stage with his co-stars.
