The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S went on pre-order sale two weeks ago and are reportedly sold out everywhere. Xbox Series X/S even went on sale in India last week and one of the consoles instantly went out of stock on the early morning of 22nd September. However, the one thing that Indian PlayStation fans are most frustrated about is the fact that they don’t even know when the console will go on sale in India or how much it will cost, at least till the time of writing this story. To say that the Indian launch of the PlayStation 5 is a total mess would be an understatement.

The fact that Sony has remained quiet about any information regarding the PS5 release date or its price in India shows the company does not consider it a priority. A report from last week suggests that India price and release date might just be around the corner, however we haven’t heard anything official yet. The last thing we heard was that Sony had decided on a release date and price for the console in the country, but the Japanese company is reluctant about revealing any information until they are confident of the logistical issues. The delay could also be a result of BIS certification which can take longer due to many imaginable reasons.
